What our Guests Say
“Gardens of Avila Restaurant was a delight!”
Richard K
We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. I didn't think the meal could get any better than the dinner but breakfast surpassed it. We got massages and I also got a facial. Kelly was amazing doing my facial and Lindsay is now my wife's favorite masseuse. The grounds are gorgeous The hikes were amazing The hike up sycamore trail is long but the view at the end of the walk is so breathtaking that every step was worth it. We will definitely be back many times.
“Talk about customer service!.”

Talk about customer service! This resort has amazing customer service. I had a problem with my reservation and they solved it with kindness and grace. I can’t wait to get in a mineral soaking tub and relax!!!
“Cannot wait till our next visit!”
Adriana P
Our beginning at Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort & Spa… included 2 nights at The West Meadows King Suite. We initially planned on experiencing ALL that the location offered but quickly opted-in for a slow pace and relaxing stay. We slept-in, enjoyed the private Hot Tub at our convenience and took advantage of the amenities in our room. We dined at The Gardens of Avila, shopped at the Gift Store, and were brought back to life after our Swedish 60-min massage at the Spa. This hidden Gem was highly recommended, and we were NOT disappointed. We look forward to many more stays, we thank EVERYONE we encountered for always having a smile, being friendly and accommodating during our getaway, thank you! Until our next visit!
“Relax, Refresh, Renew"

Brought my husband here for his first time and he absolutely loved it! The hot tubs leave your hair and skin feeling so soft! The staff is very friendly and quick to get you what you need when you call customer service. One of my favorite places to relax and disconnect for the weekend
“Wish we stayed longer!”
Maria B
We stayed at Sycamore last Thursday night. It was wonderful and I wish we had stayed longer!! Jesse checked us in and he was very kind and provided us with all the information we needed about our stay. We quickly went on the hike that led us to the top of the mountain where we could see the ocean. We found the swing he told us about and we each got on the swing and played like children. It was fun. The view of the distant beach was magnificent!! We then went to the pool and enjoyed a warm comfy swim in the ultra clean water. It was wonderful. After we went to our room and got ready for our massages. They were amazing!!! We were so relaxed and happy. We had a good night sleep and in the morning we had a most delicious breakfast in the Gardens restaurant on site. We also used our tub in the patio of our room. Everything was perfect and we can't wait to go back!! We want to rent the bikes and visit the Avila community pool. Hopefully we will be back real soon!! Loved it there!!!
“Quiet private and beautiful. Definitely will return.”
Hotel Guest
My husband and I visited for a weekend stay celebrating our 10 year anniversary. Our room location was at the top of the hill, and it was perfect. It was so quiet. Never stayed at a more quiet hotel. We rented bikes for 35.00 a day, and took the trail into town for breakfast. ( the bikes need servicing, or replacing, I would rent a E-bike if I could do it again). We enjoyed having our own tub on the patio. Rooms were clean, grounds were well maintained. Room service was fast when the restaurant was open. I had one of the best massages ever at the spa (thanks Ann- Marie) If your looking for a full service resort where everything is open at all hours, this might not be the right fit for you, but if you’re looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful location I recommend it.
